Can We See into and Change the Future?

Humans Are Multi-Dimensional

There’s no doubt about this, not even a shadow of a doubt. If any doubt does exist it’s because the person considering it is sitting in that shadow and in Plato’s cave seeing only only reflections projected on a wall. They are refusing to look at human history as provided by literary works throughout recorded time. From the oracles of Delphi to the proponents of modern main-street media including YouTube pundits and homeless street dwellers talking to themselves, human beings predict and step into the mess that they have created by such predictions.

Neville Goddard, in Out of this World,    writes

Many persons, myself included, have observed events before they occurred; that is, before they occurred in this world of three dimensions. Since man can observe an event before it occurs in the three dimensions of space, life on earth must proceed according to plan, and this plan must exist else-where in another dimension and be slowly moving through our space. If the occurring events were not in this world when they were observed, then, to be perfectly logical, they must have been out of this world. And whatever is there to be seen before it occurs here must be “Predetermined” from the point of view of man awake in a three-dimensional world. Thus the question arises:”

Are we able to alter our future?

Robert Monroe created the Monroe Institute to explore human consciousness.  They provide proven techniques to leave the body; that is, to have verifiable out of body experiences.

Joseph McConeagle

One of the participants, Joseph McMoneagle writes in his book, Mind Trek,  Exploring Consciousness, Time and Space Through Remote Viewing:

“Think of your mind as a neatly fenced in backyard. The limits or the reach of you imagination is dependent upon how far out you allow those fences to stretch.”

As per his actual experiences in remote viewing, he goes on to say,

“Simply put, I think that I am sending myself information from the future. In other words, at some point in the future I will come to know the answer to whatever question has been put to me in the past. Therefore, whenever the information is passed to me in its accurate form, that is whenever the information is passed to me in its accurate form, that is when I send it back to myself in the past.”

Say What?!

Maybe we can remote view lottery numbers?

He’s saying sometime in the future he’s sending information back to himself in the past. And you can do this right now.:

If there has every been an incident in the past which is still troubling you today. Say,  you said something or did a wrong, or would have done something a little different if you knew what you knew today, then send the correct information back to yourself.

Exericse:

See a younger you at a stage of your life that affected you right now. Send love, or re-assurance or see yourself doing  better or saying more helpful words; right now,  go back and correct whatever is causing your attachment in the here and now . . .  Forgive, make it better, and simply release it; let it go.  Also, be receptive to you in the future reaching back to you right now. What are you telling yourself?

Conscious Eating

Big Food Plans It.

Engineered Food

What’s really in your food and water? The chips, packaged sweets, and condiments we eat are engineered foods that have a combination of sugar, salt, fat and other ingredients that fill us up but never leave us feeling satisfied. They ad weight to our bodies, ruin our digestion, and clog our systems but don’t nourish us,.

An Old Chinese Maxim Tells It All:

“We dig our graves with our knife and fork.”

Another good one from Gestalt psychology,

If your food tastes like straw, your life is probably just as dull.”

One of the friends of this blog, Human Growth Exercises, let’s call him Dr. Douglas Digg. (not his real name), sent us this comment.

Doug Digg writes:

“I used to eat the regular fare from the store. You know, ground meat, potato salad from the deli, sometimes ice berg lettuce and some canned stuff. Then I visited the local organic garden and got the bug. At first, I started growing veggies in pots, then the disease really got hold of me and I tore out the lawn and planted raised beds. I have so much more energy now, the food tastes . . . well, I don’t have a word, maybe “real.” And you know what, it lasts 3 or 4 times longer in the refer. That is, what’s left over. Most of the time we eat right out of the garden.

Conscious eating is where you sit down and eat, and that’s all you do. You don’t watch TV or the computer or talk on your phone. You eat and because mastication is the first step in digestion, you become a kid again with your little train, and “Chew, chew, chew, chew.”

Okay, you don’t have to say that, but you do masticate your food.

Exercise:

Today, during one meal, sit with what you’re eating and as you chew it,  pay strict attention to it. Think about where it came from. Was it processed and shipped or grown locally? How many days has it been since it was alive? What was the place like where it was raised? Was it prepared by someone who cared about it, who thought about you, the consumer, someone who cared about you?

Here’s a wonderful book about conscious eating. Get it.

Secret of the Golden Flower

Golden Flower

Why Aren’t Secrets Just Exposed?

When a person begins to investigate the various forms of the World’s knowledge base, they soon discover esoteric thought. Now, the word ‘esoteric’ means ‘within a group.’ These groups are tightly closed to outsiders. There are various reasons for this. For instance, if you were involved in a flower design group, you might not want a bunch of rugby bounders coming in and fooling around with your flowers.

Secret Knowledge is Protected

But in truth, there are no secrets. If you look hard enough, and are willing to pay the price of humbling yourself before the ‘Master,’ or a guru, you may find truth. You may also find it in a book. Or you may never even find the trail-head and be forced to forge your own trail through the wilderness. But if you keep going you’re bound to arrive at your destination, . . . your destiny.

The Secret of the Golden Flower

Is the opening of your third eye to the light of consciousness. Here’s what C.G. Jung writes in the introduction of writer Richard Wilhelm’s translation of The Chinese Book of Life ( The Secret of the Golden Flower.) Jung writes:

“One looks with both eyes at the tip of the nose, sit upright and in a comfortable position, and holds the heart to the center in the midst of conditions. In Taoism it is called the yellow middle, in Buddhism the center in the midst of conditions. The two are the same. It does not necessarily mean the middle of the head. It is only a matter of fixing one’s thinking on the point which lies exactly between the two eyes. Then all is well. The light is something extremely mobile. When one fixes the thought on the mid-point between the two eyes, the light streams in of its own accord. It is not necessary to direct the attention especially to the central castle. In these few words the most important thing is contained.”

Exercise

Begin your meditation without a goal in mind. Close your eyes and focus them on the center between the eyes. Relax and maintain that focus without tension. Count your breath. Release. Allow the golden light to fill your being.

Sing songs that none have sung.

How to Stop Worrying

Bob Marley sang

Here’s a little song I wrote
You might want to sing it note for note
Don’t worry, be happy
In every life we have some trouble
But when you worry you make it double
Don’t worry, be happy
Don’t worry, be happy now

But we cry like little babies.

Why worry?

In The Psychological Commentaries on the Teaching of Gurdjieff and Ouspensky (whew!) 1800 pages . . . Author Maurice Nicoll writes:

“Worrying is the wrong use of centers. It is always useless. It is a form of inner considering–i.e. of identifying. It is a continual mixing up of negative imagination with a few facts and so makes only wrong connections in centers. It is a sort of lying, among the many other kinds of lying that go on in us and mess up the centers. It is always easy to worry, as it gives relief and is, as it were a form of justifying oneself. It is close to self-pity and violence. Worrying is not thinking.”

Psychologist William James said, “. . . much of what we call Evil . . . can often be converted into a bracing and tonic good by a simple change of the sufferer’s inner attitude from one of fear to one of fight.”

Exercise:

Today fight for your happiness. Tell yourself, just for today I will be happy. Just for today, I will take care of my body. Just for today, I will strengthen my mind. Just for today, I will live through this day only and not try and figure out my whole life problems at once.

Playing the Game of Life

Florence Shinn

In her book, The Game of Life and How to Play It, Florence Shinn says “It is a game . . . which can not be played successfully without the knowledge of spiritual law, and the Old and New Testament give the rules of the game with wonderful clearness. Jesus taught that it was a great game of Giving and Receiving.”

Change what you say and you change your world

In this book she emphasizes how a person can change their world. They can change the conditions of their lives by changing what they say?

She quotes Proverbs 18:21

“Death and Life are in the power of the tongue.”

Every person has a developing essence within and we are all brothers and sisters no matter what ethnic or racial background.

The mouth  is the doorway to the game of life. It is played on the board of your reality with your own self and others. You shape your game and play it.

Finding Enlightenment

English Romantic Poet, William Wordsworth, is often quoted:

“The world is too much with us; late and soon, … The World Is Too Much with Us”

You know life is a grind because 200 years later Jackson Browne sang in The Pretender:

“I’m going to rent myself a house
In the shade of the freeway
Gonna pack my lunch in the morning
And go to work each day
And when the evening rolls around
I’ll go on home and lay my body down
And when the morning light comes streaming in
I’ll get up and do it again
Amen”

We fill our lives with politics, eating, driving around, and purchasing “stuff” we think will make us happy. We put so much emphasis on who and what we are and money is everything . . . Yet, even after a person has “it made” something is missing.

Perhaps in Wallden , Henry David Thoreau, put it best

the mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation.”

What is It?

Enlightenment is difficult to describe simply because there are no reference points, no language, no words. It’s beyond description. We want it, but we don’t know exactly what “it” is.

Alan Watt’s book This is it posits the idea of realizing that the very life you’re leading, this moment, washing the dishes, mowing the lawn, playing with the kids, being in the garden . . . whatever you’re doing right now. . . This is enlightenment.

This is It is a great read.

Exercise:

In your mind’s eye, right now, you are walking down a dark hallway. You reach out and feel the texture of the walls and you can tell you’re walking on rug on the floor. It’s dark, but up ahead is a tiny light. As you near it, you see there is a skylight. Looking, up the clouds part and light streams into you.

Right now, this moment, you can get Alan Watt’s book.

Sexual Healing

On the Midnight Love album in the song ‘Sexual Healing’,

Marvin Gaye sang,

Baby, I’m hot just like an oven
Ooh
Baby now let’s get down tonight
Baby, I’m hot just like an oven
I need some lovin’
And baby, I can’t hold it much longer
It’s getting stronger and stronger
And when I get that feeling
I want sexual healing
Sexual healing, oh baby
Makes me feel so fine
Helps to relieve my mind
Sexual healing baby, is good for me
Sexual healing is something that’s good for me

. . .

Now, are there sexual exercises a person can do either alone or with a lover?

. . .
First, let’s consider the virtues of the Penis. Say what? Dog! That’s a taboo subject. (Okay, kid alert. If you’re under 18 you’re not allow to read this if it was 1982 when Marvin Gaye sang the song above, but it’s 2020 and the Internet changed all that, so here you go.)
. . .

The Virtues of the Penis

In his book, The Tao of Sexuality, Dr. Stephen T. Chang fills the pages with exercises you can do with a lover. In that book he lists five virtues of the Penis.
. . .
1. Kindness. As a tool for servicing the woman, it keeps giving and giving.
2. Righteousness. it is not selfish. It performs its duty, yet it is empty on the inside with nothing of its own.
3. Courteousness. It is polite. It advances or retreats at the right time.
4. Wisdom. It know how to find a way to please a woman.
5. Honesty. It will keep on laboring and completes its duty.
. . .
Now, if you haven’t already died of laughter, you can try this. The center of your body is your stove, where energy for sex and everything else is generated. You can stoke that stove with this exercise.
. . .
Before going to sleep tonight, as you lay on your back, gently rub your stomach with your palm. Take it easy. Rub in a clockwise circle.  No matter your age, rub around 25  times more than your number of years. Do this every night for a week.
. . .
If you want to find out more about how sex, how different positions can heal different diseases, get Dr. Chang’s book.

What is ‘Inner Smile’?

Feeling Depressed, Down, Crummy, or Awful?

Sometimes we get in a state of mind such that it’s like we’ve walked down a deserted street in some strange town and there’s not even an empty can to kick. It’s like a mask of angst has been glued on our face. We’re depressed. We want to do something, but the whole body is so down in the dumps, there’s no energy. Part of us wants to dance, but the feet are made out of clay.

The Inner Smile

The cure for listlessness, ennui, and life in the doldrums–depression, angst, and anger is Amiya. This is the nectar of life. It is a real substance that comes from an esoteric type of breathing that actually causes a honey like substance to fill your mouth and spread throughout your body. It’s easy to produce. All one needs is an open window to fresh morning air and the ability to smile.

In an unusual and truly informative manner, Pundit Acharya in Breath, Sleep, the Heart and Life,  explains that

“The blessing of the entire Nature and God are in this air that is free from mercury, dust, and all the impurities of the day. Beneath the infinite sky above, and the limitless space before you, in the soft twilight of the dawn, as the cool breeze kisses your brow,  like the gentle caress of a mother’s affectionate gaze, try and breathe gently, very gently, infinitely gently, this pale air, and you will find the Amiya of the gods in the oxygen.

It is this Amiya which is the essence of life.”

Exercise:

Wake up a little earlier than usual. Make sure you’re wrapped up and warm but sit before a partially open window. Place the tongue at the roof of the mouth. Breath in thinly. (here’s the secret: Prana or Chi floats on top of the air) So breath in the thin air. Next, crack a big smile and remember the feeling of your body. Now, as your breath relax your smile, relax your body, but reproduce the inner feeling of a smile. This is the inner smile. As you do this, you may be blessed by a flowing nectar. It’s name is Amiya.

TV Versus the Science of Breath

Everyone Knows Yogi Bear

But how many people know that Yogi Ramacharaka was actually  William Walker Atkinson, an American publisher and writer of 14 books on new thought.

And what’s the difference.?

The Information Age Hypnotizes

Or, it makes us more intelligent. And how, since everyone of us in the Western world grew up with the TV as our baby-sitters, can we tell the difference between being intelligent and being stupid?  Really, Yogi Bear had a sidekick called Boo Boo and Cervantes Don Juan had one called Sancho Panza.  Perhaps they are the same characters, translated through different ages.

Kill Your TV

Are you nuts? Kill your TV?! That’s total insanity. Without TV a person might have to sit on the couch and meditate, or for heaven’s sake take a deep breath and do some exercise. This is a least one of the difference between Yogi Bear and Yogi Ramacharaka. The TV bear was into eating. Atkinson delineated Eastern breathing exercises in his publication, The Science of Breath.

In that book, he writes

“Eminent authorities have stated that one generation of correct breathers would regenerate the race, and disease would be so rare as to be looked upon as a curiosity. Whether looked at from the standpoint of the Oriental or Occidental, the connection between correct breathing and health is readily seen and explained.”

Is Our Culture Sick?

More than 133 million Americans, or 45 percent of the population, have at least one chronic condition. These conditions include arthritis, asthma, cancer, cardiovascular (heart) disease, depression and diabetes, though these are only a few of many chronic illnesses that negatively impact the lives of Americans. (from Google)

Exercise:

Right now take a deep breath. Relax, let it out. Now, tense your toes, curl them up. Take another deep breath. Send the energy of the breath down to your toes. Tense your calves a bit, relax; take a deep breath and send the breath energy down there. Continue up your body, tensing and sending breath energy to each area and finish with your head and face. After this, tense the whole body a bit and relax. . . .  Relax everywhere.

This exercise and much, much more are included in the book, The Science of Breath. Get it now.
