What is ‘Inner Smile’?

Feeling Depressed, Down, Crummy, or Awful?

Sometimes we get in a state of mind such that it’s like we’ve walked down a deserted street in some strange town and there’s not even an empty can to kick. It’s like a mask of angst has been glued on our face. We’re depressed. We want to do something, but the whole body is so down in the dumps, there’s no energy. Part of us wants to dance, but the feet are made out of clay.

The Inner Smile

The cure for listlessness, ennui, and life in the doldrums–depression, angst, and anger is Amiya. This is the nectar of life. It is a real substance that comes from an esoteric type of breathing that actually causes a honey like substance to fill your mouth and spread throughout your body. It’s easy to produce. All one needs is an open window to fresh morning air and the ability to smile.

In an unusual and truly informative manner, Pundit Acharya in Breath, Sleep, the Heart and Life,  explains that

“The blessing of the entire Nature and God are in this air that is free from mercury, dust, and all the impurities of the day. Beneath the infinite sky above, and the limitless space before you, in the soft twilight of the dawn, as the cool breeze kisses your brow,  like the gentle caress of a mother’s affectionate gaze, try and breathe gently, very gently, infinitely gently, this pale air, and you will find the Amiya of the gods in the oxygen.

It is this Amiya which is the essence of life.”

Exercise:

Wake up a little earlier than usual. Make sure you’re wrapped up and warm but sit before a partially open window. Place the tongue at the roof of the mouth. Breath in thinly. (here’s the secret: Prana or Chi floats on top of the air) So breath in the thin air. Next, crack a big smile and remember the feeling of your body. Now, as your breath relax your smile, relax your body, but reproduce the inner feeling of a smile. This is the inner smile. As you do this, you may be blessed by a flowing nectar. It’s name is Amiya.

Reverse Your Direction

Push on Through to the Other Side

When on the road to enlightenment, or success, or accomplishment a person comes to a what might be called, so to speak, a threshold where afterward there is no turning back. A commitment has been made. Full speed ahead. Put your nose to the grindstone, pedal to the metal. Success! Onward and upward. Analyze.  Arrange! Actualize!  Just do it. Right!

Gurus Agree

They say, “Use your determination! Stick with it!”

Not all of them do. Some point out that the main cause of failure actually is attachment. One has to ask themselves, “How many times am I going to put this ‘Three-legged horse’ into the race? You’ve bet your life savings, hocked the credit card and sold the family jewels to get in the race. It has to work! When do you stop? Can a person reverse direction on a dime?

The Greatest Idea of All Time

That may be a good name for the ‘Three-legged horse’ on which you’ve bet your life, because the secret of the Internet, of successful Internet business, is to quickly change directions by starting, re-starting ideas, and getting rid of the dogs you’re racing.  . . . which you’ve created because of attachment.  Your idea is a dog if you’ve been working too long and getting no where. But, but . . .  the idea is your baby.  You can’t change now.

The Rules of the Internet

Are the same as NLP–Neural Linguistic Programming–created by Grinder and Bandler–which has as it’s basic tenet: If it doesn’t work, try something else. Maybe it’s time to let go and reverse direction. This next exercise increases your creativity as it releases the attachment to fixed ideas. It’s simple, but by doing it you might get rid of the ‘mudders’ and ‘three-legged’ horses you’ve been racing and discover you’re a real winner . . . or even that it’s not a race but a lazy afternoon siesta.

Exercise:

Consider some everyday life situation, object, or activity as if they were exactly the opposite of what you normally take them to be. Imagine yourself in a situation the reverse of your own, where you act exactly contrary to what you do now. Observe actions, and thoughts, and feelings as if they were totally reversed. Don’t condemn or judge them. Simply reverse them in your mind’s eye.

For example, if you fed your dog or cat this morning, imagine what it would be like if your pet fed you. What if instead of going to work, your work came to you? If you’re married and have kids, what would life be like if you were the kid and your kids were your parent?

Acellerate Learning

Here’s a New Term: “Eidetic E-Memory”

This term describes those people who are so tied to their phones that when having a conversation, they will stop the flow of conversation over the meaning of a word and ask their phone, “Google? What’s meaning of Eidetic?”

. . .”relating to or denoting mental images having unusual vividness and detail, as if actually visible”

However, Wikipedia says

” A number of people claim to have eidetic memory, but science has never found a single verifiable case of photographic memory. Eidetic imagery is virtually nonexistent in adults”

We Learn Experientially

No one learns to play the guitar by studying the theory of music. Kids don’t learn to throw a baseball from reading about aerodynamics. Learning to use a keyboard, one has to type. We learn through experience; so if that’s the case, how can one accelerate learning?

Create the Experience in Your Mind

Eric Franklin was a professional dancer, now an author and creator of the Franklin Method, training for Whole-Body Conditioning and Efficiency. He says in his masterful book,

“Change is possible only through the enormous task of re-coordinating the neuro-muscular pathways responsible for the habitual balance and movement patterns. It can be accomplished only if the method of teaching informs, stimulates, and challenges the student . . . The idea of movement alone suffices to start all movement along its most suitable path.”

He goes on to quote from Mabel Todd’s book, The Thinking Body, where she writes “concentration upon a picture involving mental movement results in responses in the neuro-musculature as necessary to carry out specific movements with least effort.”

The Solution

Therefore, accelerated learning can be achieve by seeing pictures in your mind–by creating and sensing metaphorically what it feels like to be in the state of learning faster and faster. As most of us were forced fed information and had to throw it up on examination, the next time you need to learn something quickly, . . .  use this:

Exercise:

Allow yourself to relax while taking in information. See an image of yourself with all the attached feelings of a relaxed state. In that state of mind drop all fear of learning. Relax. Immerse yourself in the subject. Pay attention, and in a relaxed state of mind see yourself absorbing–absorbing and using that information in experiences.

Eric Franklin’s work is extremely important for anyone who is physically or mentally crystallized or frozen in their lives. To open the locks that bind, either of these are great reads. Get them now!

TV Versus the Science of Breath

Everyone Knows Yogi Bear

But how many people know that Yogi Ramacharaka was actually  William Walker Atkinson, an American publisher and writer of 14 books on new thought.

And what’s the difference.?

The Information Age Hypnotizes

Or, it makes us more intelligent. And how, since everyone of us in the Western world grew up with the TV as our baby-sitters, can we tell the difference between being intelligent and being stupid?  Really, Yogi Bear had a sidekick called Boo Boo and Cervantes Don Juan had one called Sancho Panza.  Perhaps they are the same characters, translated through different ages.

Kill Your TV

Are you nuts? Kill your TV?! That’s total insanity. Without TV a person might have to sit on the couch and meditate, or for heaven’s sake take a deep breath and do some exercise. This is a least one of the difference between Yogi Bear and Yogi Ramacharaka. The TV bear was into eating. Atkinson delineated Eastern breathing exercises in his publication, The Science of Breath.

In that book, he writes

“Eminent authorities have stated that one generation of correct breathers would regenerate the race, and disease would be so rare as to be looked upon as a curiosity. Whether looked at from the standpoint of the Oriental or Occidental, the connection between correct breathing and health is readily seen and explained.”

Is Our Culture Sick?

More than 133 million Americans, or 45 percent of the population, have at least one chronic condition. These conditions include arthritis, asthma, cancer, cardiovascular (heart) disease, depression and diabetes, though these are only a few of many chronic illnesses that negatively impact the lives of Americans. (from Google)

Exercise:

Right now take a deep breath. Relax, let it out. Now, tense your toes, curl them up. Take another deep breath. Send the energy of the breath down to your toes. Tense your calves a bit, relax; take a deep breath and send the breath energy down there. Continue up your body, tensing and sending breath energy to each area and finish with your head and face. After this, tense the whole body a bit and relax. . . .  Relax everywhere.

This exercise and much, much more are included in the book, The Science of Breath. Get it now.

You Want to be a Millionaire

I

A Few Million Would be Really Nice.

On the other hand, taxes will take half off the top. Your friends and relatives will want another half. The new house or remodel will cost another half. Later, when you’re living in the van on the street you will think back about your life, especially if you had an irresistible lover, and you’ll sing a Robert Palmer song:

She’s unavoidable, I’m backed against the wall
She gives me feelings like I never felt before
I’m breaking promises, she’s breaking every law
She used to look good to me, but now I find her
Simply irresistible . She’s so fine, there’s no tellin’

. . . where the money went”

Is It Necessary to be a Millionaire?

Being a millionaire is good. A billionaire is better. How about a trillion? It’s just too much. What kind of life do you want to create for yourself? What’s the final result of your efforts. When you start a project, it’s good to keep the end in mind.

Be the Person You Want to Be.

In a great book, The Millionaire Course, author Marc Allen writes that being a millionaire has nothing to do with being the person that you want to be. He writes,

“Understanding that makes things a lot easier for us: We don’t need to achieve our goals of success in the world before we can find enjoyment and even fulfillment in our lives, because enjoyment and fulfillment are found within us, not out there in the world, and certainly not in a big house or hefty bank account or diversified investment portfolio.”

He goes on to relate what Eckhart Tolle says in the power of now.

“All we need to do is get the inside right, and then the outside will take care of itself.”

Affirmations . . . Say What?!

Every Day in Every Way I’m Getting Better.

You’ve said this before. It’s a good affirmation. But the question remains, “Why aren’t I feeling better, or richer, or have what I want?” The answer is held within the idea of affirming. Here’s the most blatant case which is a glaring example of why affirmations often don’t work. When a person shouts to the Universe, “I need money!” this says, “I’m needy.” Since a Natural Law of our world is that like attract like, your needy being will simply attract more need. This is the way to stay poor.

Abundance Feels Good

It’s your state of being that determines and attracts life to you. Self-actualized people feel good about themselves. Abundance comes naturally. They love life because they’re doing what they want. If they make a daily affirmation it’s “I love it!”

Those Feeling are Deep Inside of You Now

In the book, Creating Money, channeled through DA Ben and Orin, author Sanaya Roman writes

“Whether you are consciously aware of it or not, deep inside you are seeking growth and aliveness, wanting to manifest your potential and be all that your can be.  Most people are seeking a life filled with joy, love, a feeling of security, creative self-expression, enjoyable and meaningful activities, and self-esteem. The more of these aspects you have in your life the more you will feel and the more you will be realizing your full potential.”

The most Important affirmations you can make . . .

These are about you, about your feelings, about how you feel. That’s where to start.

Exercise

Wrap your arms around your chest and say these two affirmations five times each:

     1. I like myself.

     2. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful me.

  1. Creating Money is full of exceptional affirmations, ones that will literally blow a wind in your sails and knock you out of the doldrums.

The Universe is Perfect; Do What You Love

The Gears Mesh Perfectly

Synchronicity is defined as the simultaneous occurrence of events which appear significantly related but have no discernible causal connection. It’s as if the Universe were a giant mechanical clock and all the cogs and notches fit perfectly.

You Can Have Whatever You Want

In his exceptional book, You Can Have It AllArnold Patent writes:

“The Universe wants us to experience a life that works perfectly. Thinking that life is a struggle, that unless we figure things out, we will not understand what to do . . . these are just thoughts we made up. The fact that many people think this way, does not make it true.

We can, at any time, surrender to the perfection of the Universe and allow infinite intelligence to guide us on our perfect path. The only precondition to this is the belief this is how the Universe works. Believing it makes it so. Try it! There is no other way to find out.”

Faith. Belief. These are powers.

Have faith that what you desire, doing what you want, having what you want . . . believe it will happen and it will.

Exercise:

Make a list of the things you love to do. Limit the list to those activities that create excitement in you at the mere thought of them. Narrow the list down to one.  See yourself doing it, being that. Believe in yourself. Have faith you will be successful.

Arnold Patent’s book is an eye opener. If you’re interested in finding out how the Universe actually works, buy his book: Click on the book:

Does the Law of Attraction Really Work?

An Interesting Quiz

We ran a short quiz on our Facebook page. We asked the question:

Why Doesn’t the Law of Attraction Work?

Choose an option:

1. Subconscious programming prevents it.

2. People are Lazy.

3. It does work if you believe.

4. It always works.

In this particular poll most people chose # 1.

Writing about the Law of Attraction has been around for awhile.

Thousands of years before The Secret and the channeled work of the Hicks, it was written by Hermes on the Emerald Tablets in the law of polarity, the law of gender. A more recent work by Charles F. Haanel was originally published in 1912 as weekly tracts and incorporated into a book titled, The Master Key System.

The Master Key is the Law of Attraction

In that book he writes,

“The law is that Thought is an active vital form of dynamic energy which has the power to correlate with its object and bring it out of the invisible substance from which all things are created into the visible or objective world. This is the law by which, and through which, all things come into manifestation; it is also the Master Key by which you are admitted into the Secret Place of Most High and are given “dominion over all things.” With an understanding of this law you may ‘decree a thing and it will be established unto thee.’ ”

It is a Law of Nature

The Law of Attraction is a Natural Law. Like attracts like. Haanel goes on to write “Mental efficiency is contingent upon harmony, discord means confusion; therefore, he who would acquire power must be in harmony with Natural Law.”

Attention Equals Interest

Whatever you do today and in the next week use the incentive of attention. Attention is interest; the greater the attention, the greater the interest, action and reaction. Begin whatever you do by paying attention and before long you will be more interested. This will attract more attention.

Exercise:

Pick something you’re interested in and increase your attention. See if you can multiply that interest by attending to it with more attention. Then, increase your interest by more attention.

The Master Key system is a week by week system you can use to attract whatever you want. Also, it’s a fun read and will re-program you subconscious mind. Now, click on the book below.

Two Sides to Every Question

Have You Every Heard This?

“My way or the highway!”

Well, sometimes it’s a good idea to take them up on this. In that case, it’s time to cry out: “Road Trip!” and then  take off. You don’t need somebody who knows everything. There are always two sides to every question.  Your opinion, your viewpoint, is important. Of course, if it’s your boss and your job is on the line, maybe your road trip could be postponed. Maybe not.

Put Yourself in a Different Place

The way to understand other people is to put yourself in their place. What are they seeing when they deal with you? What problems are they facing? If you can walk in their shoes for a short time, you’ll experience what’s going on with them.

See Yourself as Others See You.

On seeing a lady’s bonnet in Church, Robert Burns wrote to Louise

Robert Burns hatDear Louise,

if we could just see ourselves as others see us!

“Oh, would some Power give us the gift
To see ourselves as others see us!
It would from many a blunder free us,
And foolish notion:
What airs in dress and gait would leave us,
And even devotion!”

Putting yourself in another’s place, in their shoes, gives you the gift to see yourself as other’s see you. . . and shows you there are at least two sides to every question, at least two ways to do everything.

Exercise:

Clasp your hands together. That’s right, as you’re reading, do it. Okay, now do it another way. You’ll notice that if you crossed your left thumb over your right thumb, you can cross the thumbs and fingers in another opposite way.

Now, cross your arms over chest as you normally do. Now, cross them a different way. If you cross the right over the left then cross the left over the right.

These are simple movements.

Maybe you’re not seeing yourself as you’d like to. In that case get our  e-book

Mental Cleaning Before Bed

Everyone has 21st Century Stress

It’s impossible to avoid. By the time we hit the sheets we’re so exhausted from our day of doing, worrying, acting or reacting. Sleep comes slow. The mind is full of “This person said this,” or “Why did they do that to me,” or “How am I going to take care of that,” and so on.

Nothing Ever Gets Resolved

And so our dreams are filled with symbolic representations of our day where we try and resolve all that happened, but we can’t understand that and we toss and turn and don’t sleep well.

Awaken From the Dream

the sleeper
Resolve the conflicts before sleep.

The following exercise comes from The 4th Way by Ouspensky. Now, if you’d like to find out more about yourself, the world, and also delve into esoteric knowledge, this book is a good place to start. It’s a beginning, a place to turn on to who you really are. All in all, the 4th way is a fascinating study with the end result of awakening from the hypnotism of the world.

Sleep Tight.

When people go to bed, often they review the day from beginning to end. Try the following. It cleans up the mind for better sleep. Here’s a simple exercise before going to sleep.

Exercise:

As you lay down to sleep, remember your day from the time you got in bed to the morning in reverse order. See yourself preparing for bed, brushing your teeth, getting in your sleeping clothes. Go back to what you did just before that, maybe watching TV. Then review your day from incident or state of mind backwards, back to getting up.

Get started on the 4th Way, Get it now!
