“CAN A BOOK OPEN YOUR MIND TO FANTASTIC IDEAS?”

Mark Joyner does it again! Remember the other book of his I reviewed,
“The Irresistible Offer.” His new book, “Integration Marketing,” pretends to
be a methodology for elevating the scale of your business and doing so in
a very low-risk predictable fashion. I said, “pretends to be.” What it is really
is a primer to show you how to interface with other businesses using their
actual transactions streams to sell your products.

HOW DOES THIS WORK ?

You’ve bought something on the Internet, haven’t you? . . . and when you
did there was a 'thank you page.' Was there another irresistible offer on
that page you couldn't resist? Did the seller up-sell you there, on the
'thank you page' itself. Mark contacts businesses that don’t use this
process and pays them a commission to sell his offers. Ingenious. It’s viral
marketing at
it’s best.
This is a short book, 130 pages, and I really liked it. It can open your mind
to new cross-selling techniques and also help you create strategies to
make better business decisions.

ARGOT KILLS – BRAIN DEAD

Argot is the language of a trade or profession. For instance, a doctor talks
about prescriptions, aspirin and so on. A plumber speaks about drains,
pipe wrenches, etc. The new marketer uses the words ‘Units of Marketing
Value,’ “Traffic Stream,’ ‘Transaction Stream,’ and so on.
Sound a little dull, but it’s not. Mark’s enthusiasm is contagious. Perhaps
you'll get the idea when he lists the three most important little words:

• More
• Profit
• Faster

The book expanded my ideas about marketing, especially the concept of
duplicate and scale. If you do integrate your marketing once, then
duplicate it. Then scale up, duplicate it again and again.

Really a great book.
